A patch release for an iOS linker collision, long CJK text in Supertonic TTS, and installs that differed by operating system. No public API changed.
Bug fixes
- On iOS, model loads no longer fail with
NotFoundin apps where another pod, such as@sentry/react-native, also setsOTHER_LDFLAGS[sdk=iphoneos*]inuser_target_xcconfig. CocoaPods treats those SDK-conditional keys as singular, so the collision dropped both values and the-force_loadflags for the XNNPACK, Core ML and MLX backends never reached the linker. The flags now go through a pod-scopedRNE_OTHER_LDFLAGSappended to plainOTHER_LDFLAGS, which CocoaPods merges cleanly (#1504 by @barhanc). - Supertonic TTS no longer throws
partition: text cannot be divided into chunks of length <= 120on long Japanese or other CJK text. The text partitioner recognizes full-width sentence enders and pause marks (。!?;、,:), and falls back to a synthetic breakpoint when a run of characters has no natural one within the limit (#1506 by @barhanc).
Installation
- The postinstall writes native library downloads to a temp file and renames it into place, so parallel installs sharing the libs cache can no longer read a truncated checksum or tarball, and a failed download leaves the previous file untouched (#1511 by @msluszniak).
- The postinstall downloads the iOS artifacts on every host, not only macOS, so the package contents and Expo's Android fingerprint no longer depend on the OS that ran the install. Linux and Windows installs fetch about 10 MB more (#1512 by @msluszniak).
- The postinstall deletes AppleDouble
._*files after extracting. GNU tar extracted them from the macOS-packed native artifacts, so Linux installs fingerprinted differently from macOS ones (#1514 by @msluszniak).
