We have a lot of new treats for you 🍬
- Notion-style typing shortcuts; no toolbar, no menu - just type the prefix and keep writing.
- Rendering video natively - a video tag in your markdown becomes a real player, no extra dependencies needed.
- GitHub admonitions - a staple of markdown extensions. The classic `> [!NOTE]` callouts, all five types, fully themeable!
- Block quotes now natively render as containers, allowing you to nest other block elements! Additionally, this brings us closer to the CommonMark specification!
- numberOfLines + ellipsizeMode let you cut off your markdown after a specified number of lines. Perfect for truncated descriptions and summaries! CommonMark only for now.
- The preserveBlankLines flag keeps `EnrichedMarkdownText` and `EnrichedMarkdownTextInput` in sync line for line, for smooth edit-in-place message flows!
- onImagePress, onCodeBlockPress, onLatexError; this set of callbacks can help you maintain state in your app and implement special interactions for your users!
- The option to disable block context menus, bringing Android and iOS closer to parity in your solutions.
- Per link-variant fonts. Now you can customize link variants even more, making every link exactly as special as you want it to be!
