About the position
We are looking for a person to help our development team with delivering thoughtful and gorgeous-looking projects. You will join our design team to work closely on diverse projects.
Clients projects – you may expect cooperation with clients from various fields including fin-tech, education, and entertainment to name but a few. Creating visual style and developing UI design (the finished UI views and components for online and mobile applications) will be your primary responsibilities.
Our internal ones such as our website, App.js website (App.js is the conference organized by our company), our open-source projects (e.g. React Native libraries, Membrane Framework), and others. Working on a project of this nature may entail taking care of the visual identity in addition to producing UI views. Subjects related to marketing and branding, such as designing gadgets, logos, graphics, and some other marketing materials.
Job requirements
We mainly require from you:
very good communication skills in Polish and English (C1) – you will be in close cooperation with the clients (in English) and the team (in Polish), conduct meetings or conversations around many topics,
strong visual and interface skills – it means the ability to create well-crafted interfaces and knowledge of how to prepare them for the development,
prototyping skills – ability to create clickable prototypes, use correct micro-interactions and animations to simulate natural screens behavior,
knowledge of best practices in graphic design – techniques, tools, and principles,
ability to work independently – we need to know that you can manage the project by yourself, but it doesn’t mean that this is a standard for us, our design team supports each other,
at least 3 years of commercial experience as a UI Designer.
It would be great if you have some skills around:
managing style guides and design systems – understand how they are created and how to manage them, knowledge around design and code components would be useful,
project leading – it would be beneficial in cooperation with our clients, especially guiding them effectively through every design phase,
experience with DTP (desktop publishing) of marketing materials.
Terms of Cooperation
You will be able to work remotely from time to time, but in this position, it is important to work hybrid, around 2-3 days per week in our office at Zabłocie 43B in Cracow.
This is a full-time job. Generally, we work flexible hours, but you would have to adjust your schedule for some meetings.
We are flexible when it comes to the type of the agreement.
