About the company

We are a Kraków-based company that has been on the market for almost 10 years. Thanks to our steady growth rate of about 30-40% per year, we are close to hiring our 200th team member.

We work for companies ranging in size – we draw from the startup culture and its informal style, but we accommodate well to mature organizations. We are the technological core of many companies. You may be using our products and not even know it.

The core part of Software Mansion are engineers, but apart from that, we have QA and Design teams, as well as project management, sales, HR, and marketing.

About the position

Our sales process is not a typical one. Since most of our clients come from the recommendation or know us because of the open source tools we are working on, we do not have a separate sales department responsible for lead generation. Instead, sales activities are being performed by several people. You will join the team that consists of:

  • Alek, Michał, and Tomek (Software Engineers) – who deal comprehensively with the entire sales process (from first contact to kick off). We engage our engineers in the sales process, because it is important to us to provide the clients with technical advisory at the top level from the very beginning.
  • Marcin and Paweł – two founders of the company – for the first few years they have been doing all of the sales and they are still actively involved in contact with some leads or clients.
  • CLO – who helps the sales team in all legal matters and formalities.
  • Project and Project Delivery Managers – they participate in kick off meetings, overlook ongoing projects and maintain relationships with clients.
  • As you get more rooted in your projects, we’d also like you to be responsible for the account management in your projects (with help of an account manager) and to get more involved in project management.

    What will be your role?

    We aren’t huge fans of strict job descriptions, as we believe in giving our employees a lot of flexibility in how they fulfill their roles. We do, however, need some help with developing and overseeing a smooth and effective sales process. Your main responsibility will be establishing and driving the daily rhythm of sales and identifying bottlenecks, promoting changes and driving improvement of the whole process.

    About your background

  • You have experience in a similar position or significant sales background with ability to see the room for improvement.
  • You have experience working with startups and an understanding of how software houses, startups, and other companies operate in general.
  • You are independent – you will be responsible for organizing your own work and supporting others, so you should also be a well-organized person.
  • You are creative – you will need to come up with improvements and find new solutions on your own.
  • Your English level is fluent (min. C1) – as we mostly work with clients from the USA. You should also be able to freely communicate in Polish (min. B2 level), because it is the language of our internal communication.
  • Apart from the above-mentioned requirements, we want to underline the importance of cultural fit and entrepreneurship in our company. We are looking for a personality match for our team, rather than just a fixed set of hard skills.
