What would you do as a HR & Recruitment Specialist at Software Mansion?

Our mission is to create a great workplace for our employees. HR & Recruitment Specialist at Software Mansion is not a position you can know from the majority of companies, as sourcing will be just a small part of your work, and more than achieving KPIs, we value hiring matching people for our company. Taking care of candidates at every stage of the hiring process and once they start working will be an essential part of your everyday duties. That is why it is very important to us, that you understand and value our company culture and recruitment philosophy. Of course, our team is here to guide you, but we hope that over time you will help us enhance our processes and communication.

Aside from recruitment, we also handle some other HR and EB tasks. We work as a team, and because each of us has different strengths, we try to organize our work and distribute the current tasks in the most suitable and effective way for us. If you join our team, the following tasks can be part of your responsibilities:

  • handling the entire recruitment process – contacting, filtering, and interviewing candidates,
  • sourcing (but this is not a significant part of our work and mainly concerns roles such as Project Managers, and sometimes QA Engineers or Designers),
  • guiding candidates from the first contact to the offer, and all that’s in between – we make sure that candidates receive timely information at every stage of the process,
  • writing and posting job offers,
  • collecting employees’ feedback and preparing notes about it (as we find it important to provide employees with quality feedback and do it in a good way),
  • being the first point of contact for all employees in HR-related matters (such as onboarding, offboarding, feedback, training budget, etc.),
  • taking part in other HR and EB activities,
  • proactively analyzing our recruitment needs.
  • Who are we looking for?

This position is for you if you:

  • have some experience in recruitment or generally, the HR field,
  • are interested in the IT area – we expect that you want to work in an IT company and you’re already familiar with the IT industry to some extent,
  • want to work with an in-house recruitment team – of course, achieving the recruitment goals is essential, but it is more important to us to hire matching people than just meeting KPIs,
  • have a good command of English (to verify language skills during interviews, contact foreign candidates, or create advertisements) and Polish (for daily communication with our team),
  • are flexible – you are willing to carry out various HR tasks, depending on the current needs,
  • are independent and well-organized – you can count on our help, but we expect you to be able to organize your own work, identify areas for improvement, and make your own decisions,
  • have an eye for detail – you will be responsible for writing messages to our candidates and employees, and the best quality of them is important to us.
  • It is an asset if you:

  • keep yourself up-to-date in HR and employer branding topics,
  • know the IT job market in Poland,
  • are familiar with some recruitment tools and are able to learn new ones quickly – we use, above all, Recruitee, Google Sheets, Linkedin, Slack, and Google Calendar,
  • are creative, and you find it easy to write an original, but also substantive text.
  • Terms of Cooperation

  • We work in a hybrid model so you can work remotely from time to time. However, it is important to us that you can work mainly from our office at Zabłocie 43 in Cracow and get to know our employees well, especially at the beginning of our cooperation.
  • We offer various agreements, so you can choose the one that suits you.
  • This is a full-time position with flexible working hours.
  • Why is it great to work at Software Mansion?

Our employees are important to us, so we do our best to create a secure and friendly working environment. Our top priority is to keep our employees happy and healthy – the perks listed below are just a few examples of how we care.

We take care of our employees’ wellbeing by providing:

  • flexible working hours – work whenever you like, as long as you are able to accommodate the needs of your projects,
  • 26 days of vacation leave (for employees on all types of contracts),
  • private healthcare – get professional medical care for you and your family,
  • sports packages – ability to obtain a sports card from Medicover Sport or Multisport,
  • therapist consultations – we are providing free consultations with a therapist to all of our employees,
  • nutritious breakfasts and snacks that are available every day at the office.

  • We actively support our employees’ growth and development by:

  • financing a training budget for all of our employees,
  • providing each employee with 3 paid R&D days during the year that they can use to work on educational side projects,
  • assigning each employee a mentor for their first 3 months on the job,
  • organizing group training sessions for technical and non-technical skills,
  • encouraging work-related initiatives such as presenting at conferences, writing blog posts, or organizing your own workshops within the company.

  • You can get to know all of your co-workers better by:

  • meeting everyone at our monthly All Hands sessions accompanied by pizza, sushi & beer,
  • signing up for one of our sports clubs, such as rock climbing or volleyball, or organize your own with our help,
  • taking part in one of our many workshops where you can get to know your co-workers better and learn things such as how to prepare sushi or what it takes to make a perfect espresso,
  • relaxing at our Software Mansion Mansion – we’ve recently organized workation trips for employees to places such as Masuria or The Canary Island, and are hoping to make it a tradition!
